Teresa Romanovsky

Teresa entered the recruitment industry in 1999 in London, joining one of the country's largest recruitment consultancies, and embarking on what was to become a rewarding career that brought her to Sydney in 2004.

During this time, Teresa has continuously built new client portfolio's, developed and led teams and produced measurable outcomes across operational improvements, cost reductions, productivity enhancements and revenue growth. Her career has spanned boutique agencies through to Australia's largest national recruitment group, servicing clients from ASX200, SME's, Not For Profits, Social Enterprises and all levels of government.

In 2021, Teresa's vision for creating a recruitment consultancy that had a positive impact on people, planet and animals, culminated in the creation of Careers For Purpose. Now Teresa has the privilege of connecting mission driven employers with values seeking employees who together will help build a better world for us all, whether it be creating meaningful impact at the community level, or solving a global problem like climate change.

Teresa says, "I'm very passionate about animal, environmental and people protection and I'm on a personal mission to help save the world by being a conscious consumer, volunteering on boards, attending committees and participating in outreach events, and growing a business to help others create the impact that is important to them. And when I want to clear my mind and have some fun, you can find me with 8 wheels on my feet skating around Sydney CBD, attending artistic skate classes or throwing myself around the local skate parks. You could say I'm a little obsessed with rolling skating".
