The opportunity Joining a team of sales and relationship development professionals you will support the wider business to consumer (B2C) team and build your own sales pipeline in the sustainability field. You will work and engage with a variety of medium to large organisations including some of the world’s leading brands such as BIC, L’Oréal and Colgate. Helping their customers become more planet friendly by offering them a variety of recycling solutions and programs. Your role will encompass: Supporting the Business Development Managers and Head of Dept to develop a sales pipeline Responding to inbound leads about their recycling programs and services. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients resulting in successful business conversions to achieve sales targets, including: Scheduling and conducting sales calls/meetings with prospective clients. Creating, pitching and periodically updating sales presentations and proposals. Drafting contracts and conducting negotiations (with support of the legal department). Organising, tracking and maintaining CRM records of all communications Attending events and conferences About you You’re passionate about the environment and your ideal is to turn that personal ethos into meaningful outcomes by helping consumers and businesses become more eco conscious. You are equally excited by turning a prospect client enquiry into a sale, building rapport, developing your commercial acumen and being pivotal to the organisation’s revenue growth. In addition, you will have: Experience in B2C sales in a corporate environment Ability to create meaningful and engaging client presentations from templates. Confidence to engage and persuade clients over the phone and email, with a high standard of verbal and written communication skills. A results-oriented attitude and be highly organised to execute across multiple clients.
