This position demands a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can effectively develop, monitor, and report on wholesale trading operations. You will possess a unique blend of technical skills, ability to communicate effectively, and general knowledge of the NEM. You’ll be responsible for: Creating and modelling the existing wholesale portfolio and pricing methodology. Organising, monitoring, and evaluating data related to pricing, settlements, customers, battery services, and additional markets. Evaluating trading strategy and reporting on feedback from the market to integrate down the line. Creating and optimising trading dashboards and wholesale portfolios within guidelines and principles of the Trading Mandate. Analysing and reporting on current positions, risk evaluations, and projected future strategies. Generating price forecasting based on analysis of market data and trends and utilising data analytics to anticipate changes in portfolio demand. About you You are a highly skilled, organised professional who is both self-motivated and works well within a team. We are looking for an individual who combines industry knowledge with a lateral thinking mindset, and who is adept at managing large complex data and calculations. In addition, you will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline, such as engineering, economics, physics, or mathematics Demonstrated SQL and Python experience in previous roles Dashboard development, extensive database and statistical analysis experience The ability to work collaboratively across disciplines Energy experience desirable This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an industry that is vital for the planet's future.
