Some of the benefits on offer include: Flexible start and finish times - work around your other life responsibilities Working from home - Hybrid Diverse and exciting projects and clients Paid parental leave, paid purchased leave, birthday leave Professional memberships & growth opportunities The opportunity As the ESG Lead you will have the opportunity to join the team in either the Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth offices supporting and assisting clients with the development of their ESG/ sustainability strategies with your own team driving overall success of the business. You'll be responsible for: Formulating ESG & decarbonisation strategies, undertaking materiality assessments, target setting, carbon accounting and developing implementation and action plans for clients. Leading a highly motivated team of ESG sustainability and climate change specialists across the APAC Region. Working closely with Project Directors to manage the planning, resourcing, financial performance, and training of the team. Leading projects, and with support, contribute to the expansion of the portfolio. Collaborating and overseeing projects with the Australian offices and the broader global team. Maintaining and fostering stakeholder relationships. About you You are an upcoming leader within the ESG and Sustainability sectors with a proven track record of preparing strategies and implementation plans showcasing your skills in analytics, business development, and team leadership. In addition, you will have: Project management skills to directly manage delivery of scope, client satisfaction, financial performance, and invoicing. Experience in developing carbon emissions inventories and decarbonisation plans. The ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, effectively resourcing to meet client deadlines. Tertiary Degree in engineering, environmental sciences, economics, social sciences, organisational development, finance, accounting, or other ESG-related degrees. Preferable, but not essential Experience with best practice certification schemes (Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard, GRESB, CDP, and SBTi). A Climate Active Carbon Neutral Registered Consultant. Experience with GRI & NGERS reporting. Familiarity with IFRS / ASRS standards Experience with climate risk assessments.
