The opportunity
Join a team dedicated to transforming the environment for the better. As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the helm of planning, executing, and overseeing diverse projects in contaminated land assessment, management, and remediation. With responsibilities spanning stakeholder engagement, client satisfaction, and operational excellence, you’ll lead projects ranging from brief site jobs to multi-year infrastructure initiatives.

The role offers the autonomy to develop project strategies, mentor junior staff, and drive efficiency while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Overseeing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, focusing on their satisfaction
  • Leading a motivated team, fostering their growth and project success
  • Managing project resources, budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Developing and implementing effective risk and quality management strategies
  • Tracking project milestones and KPIs, with performance bonuses to reward your success

About you
You’re an experienced Project Manager with a passion for environmental improvement and a proven track record in contaminated land projects. You possess resilience, a solutions-focused mindset, and a genuine desire to make an impact. With a collaborative approach, you're as comfortable managing clients as you are mentoring the next generation of specialists.

In addition, you will have:
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years in environmental consulting, with experience in contaminated land management
  • Strong understanding of NSW environmental regulations and project management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt within a dynamic environment
  • A clean driving licence and experience with both large and small-scale projects
  • LAA and CenvP Accreditation preferred
